End users are happy because they paid (upwards) of $50 and feel good because they saved $80 but they're getting something that's most likely not legit. They acquire a bunch of keys illegitimately and sell them for measly or hilarious profits. But we're going this way on consumer (and even professional) versions of Windows anyways. I don't want to Monkey's Paw this shit into having discount licenses because if a product is free, you're the product. ![]() It's actually cheaper to purchase an entire computer with Windows on it than to buy a copy of Windows for yourself. No one in their right mind would pay $130 for a license when it's pretty well known that large OEMs can buy it for a song. I wanted to support Microsoft for the first time in my life (for a good price since this is red flag DEALS) and everyone just wants me to continue being a pirate. ![]()
